5 Tips To Improve Your Team
Filed Under Free tips and techniques

Take the game seriously
This is a mindset change. Many of you would argue that you play for fun, yet when you lose a scrim all hell breaks loose. It does not matter if you play the game for fun, as a stress relief, or to win - take the game seriously. There is nothing worse than not setting a goal for yourself - make your goal to someday be CEVO-P - then do it!
Do not expect success over night
The primary reason so many teams fall apart is simply a lack of motivation. They expect the team to develop chemistry, good communication, and teamwork in no time flat. The fact is - all of this will not develop over night, it’s going to take dedication and a goal to bring your team to the next level. Start off with short term goals - let’s win 7 matches this season. Not only does this give you something to shoot for, it provides you with a method to track your progress.
Get a lesson from James
Get a group lesson with James. I know what some of you are thinking - No James did not pay me to write this. I firmly believe James is the best person for leadership, teamwork, and communication tips and techniques. When I first met James he gave me a taste of what he covers in a typical lesson, and I must say, I was shocked by the level of knowlegde he can provide in these areas. I guarantee you he will open your mind, and give you a sense of what it takes to bring your team to the next level.

Do not get upset
Patience is a virtue. Think about how many times you wanted to ban the guy who complains after every death, mistake, team kill, team flash, and round lose - it gets annoying fast. Not only is it annoying, it destroys team moral. Don’t be this guy, instead think of everything as a learning experience. Why did you just lose the round - Why are your teammates flashing each other?
Play teams that are better than you, and expect to lose
Everyone loves to win. Unfortunately this is somewhat pointless - you’re not learning anything. The best matches are those that are close - score wise. Would you rather watch a close football game, or a complete blowout? The close games are always more exciting, and provide you with a way to improve. Focus on your weak areas, try to find out why the other team is winning rounds. If you play teams that are not on your level you will only get worse.
These tips are very simple, but if used to there true potential a noticeable increase in team moral, focus, and motivation will occur. Stay tuned for more free tips and techniques.

bs. gaming should be fun.
alright, I am not being rude but I think for James sake he should stop doing lessons, not only does he call in-game, because of this he isn’t playing to his true potential. Personally I think he should take one season of calling off, and see how he does individually and team wise.
p.s because he aint too hot lately or forever :/
It’s straight forward stuff but reading it has cleared my mind somewhat. I think i will read this before every match from now on.
I play by 3 rules
1. Play smart
2. Wait for your shots, they will always come
3. Have complete confidence in yourself in any situation
I have taken a lames from jame^s, lethal, and FODDER. I honestly will say FODDER gave the best lessons. I personally loved how he helped me perfect the “bounce” technique or whatever he called it where you’re supposed to place yourself against a wall you are being peaked from then face a wall perpendicular to the wall you are being peaked from in like two to three second timed turns to help triangulate the origin of any sound to imeadiatly clarify the situation and nip things in the bud early on in a round before they get out of hand. By far the “bounce” technique helps a lot. I also liked how he went over so many methods of controlling reactions and the role your mindset and simple thinking patterns play in the strength of your reactions. I thoroughly enjoyed a lesson from all three players but FODDER just stepped it up to a whole other level. I can not wait for the guide FODDER is writing called Inside the Insight.

FODDER is by far the best Counter-Strike player ever… just take a lesson from him like me and my team did and you’ll be stunned… simply unbelivable (he even SHOWED me HOW TO CONTROL MY REFLEXES SO ACCURATE THAT I DONT EVER SEEM TO MISS MY PICKS AND BURST FRAGS AT ALL ANYMORE, he showed me this awesome “microstimulation” technqiue to enhance your reactions by positioning your eyes in crosshair in certain places… overlall amazing lesson… simply AMAZIN
