For Today’s topic I got a hold of Holla from heavy hitters. Heavy hitters is one of the most elite clubs in all of 1.6. It hosts a various array of talent from all leagues of counter strike. I will interview Holla and find out what it takes to be a successful Club owner, and a strong main player in 1.6.Real Name

Charlatan: “What made you start to play counter strike and what made you buy the game?”

Holla:” One of my neighbors showed me the game at his house, first map I played was de_dust1 and I used arrow keys. It wasn’t very fun, but I borrowed the game and did some pubbing and after a month or so, I got introduced to league competition.”

Charlatan:” What do you remember as your earliest success in competition leagues?”

Holla:” Early in my counter-strike career? Well, it all seems like a big blurr. My first cal-open team was lead by me into the playoffs”

Charlatan:” What is the highest level of competition you have ever played in?”

Holla:”CEVO/CAL-m , It was really exciting the first time, I was happy to be playing seriously with better people.”

Charlatan: “What type of player would you describe yourself as?”

Holla: “Someone with great ingame smarts and a strong feel for the game.”

Charlatan: “Do you plan to play in higher levels in the future?”

Holla “Well, i dont plan on playing after another 6months. So we shall see.”

Charlatan: “What is it like running one of the most successful clubs in cs?”

Holla: “Well I guess based on other clubs made now a days that tend to die, I’d say we are pretty successful considering the amount of support and sponsors we get.

Charlatan: “What type of special talents do you look for in new members?”

Holla: “Well were always in recruit mode. And for starters I want members who are good people and after that someone who is well experienced and skilled.”

Charlatan: “How much longer do you think heavy hitters will survive as an active club?”

Holla: “Well for the most part, it’s been ran just by me, but recently I picked up Zion from dvs to help with the invites and I feel a new wave of excitement coming on.”

Charlatan: “How did you manage to get your club over the benchmark of 200 idlers?”

Holla: “Well for a cs club many are shocked when they see the vast amount of support we have. I’m not really sure how I did it, but I am glad that I did.”

Charlatan: “On a lighter note, How many begs for ops do you get per day?”

Holla: “Well every day I always find new people trying to get in along with some persistent kids. If I’m away from the comp for more then a few hrs, I usually come back to around 40-50 pms. I’ve been offered steam accounts/servers/cevo and even money. But what I despise are the ones I say no to, that then go from liking the club to hating it. #HH is hater free zone<3.

Charlatan: “That is truly amazing, how do you keep order in a club like that?”

Holla: “Solid work ethic I’d guess. Really takes time to put something like this together, and I feel were just started and only getting better.”

Charlatan: “Do you play any other games besides counter strike?”

Holla: “Counter strike 24/7, nothing else, Tried source it was whack, and did a season or two of cz”
